So it's finally my rest day again!
But first let me share my Wednesday lunch!
We went to Pizza Hut for some pizza finally!
It's been so long since my last slice of that goodness!
We went to the San Ma Lo branch and it was glorious!
It was decorated like a fine dining restaurant!
No wonder it's so expensive here

It was located on the first and second level in Nam Kwong building.
The view by the window is nice as well.

Alright, now I'll talk about what I did during my rest day.
After work, I went for a dim sum breakfast at Ah Yi Steamboat 阿一火锅店 with my overnight colleagues.
After that I went home for a nap until 3pm.
I wanted to go for a massage in ZhuHai so I showered and got ready by 4.30pm and took Bus 3 towards the Border Gate
I brought my foldable duffel bag with me cause I've planned to do some shopping as well!
I withdrew RMB1000 before going through the immigration.
I've been craving for some Soba since last week,
so I went to look for a Japanese restaurant for lunch/dinner first.
I walked around and spotted Wan Sui Sushi Restaurant 万岁寿司
I walked in and seated myself by the conveyor belt.
After placing order for my Soba and other snacks, I observed the sushi on the belt before deciding on one.
Their portion is considerably huge,
the Unagi was hanging off the sides of the sushi rice.
Unlike the ones in Malaysia/Singapore,
I felt that I really paid my worth for the sushi plates.

I felt that I really paid my worth for the sushi plates.
I've got my Tea Soba, Miso Soup, Deep Fried Japanese Tofu, Tamago Sushi, and three other sushi plates from the belt.
The blue plate was the Unagi Sushi,
and the red plate that looked like grilled cheese is actually DURIAN!
I was shocked when I first ate it cause it did not smell at all when I opened the plastic cover.
It was good I guess, the durian overpowers everything else, so it just tastes like regular durian accompanied with a rice and seaweed texture.
And the green plate features grilled fish sushi which was beyond awesome!
I could just sit there and eat 10 plates of those cause it's that good!
YUM!
I was so stuffed but very much satisfied!
After my heavy meal, I have no intention for a massage anymore,
I felt like those sushi already gave me a therapy.
So what else can you do there except shopping?
I went absolutely crazy at the clothing stores that sells Korean/Japanese styled dresses, skirts and tops
I bought 10 new clothing in just 2 hours!
Spending approximately RMB 800++, which was okay I think, not too expensive considering that I got 10 pieces!
I went to hunt for a pair of casual shoes as well.
I've only got 3 pairs of sport shoes, a pair of heels and several slippers,
but I've got nothing appropriate to match with my skirts and dresses.
I've been looking at white shoes for a while,
like those really girly ones that would go perfectly with any skirts/dresses.
I spotted one and bought them for RMB 180.
After my shoes, I forbidden myself to buy anymore stuff,
so I stuffed all my shopping bags into my duffel bag and head back to the immigration counters.
It took around 30 minutes to clear immigration.
As usual, I took the Ponte 16 shuttle bus which is the one nearest to my home.
Annndddd.....that's what I did during my precious off day!

My supervisor told me it's not good to keep changing my body clock every week.
It's unhealthy to switch back to day time for one day when I've worked overnight for the rest of the week.
So I'll try to work out another system to not waste my rest days.
Maybe I'll sleep after work until 6-7 in the evening,
then I can wake up to do some shopping or other stuffs then.
Let's just see how it goes aite?
Next week I'll have 2 rest days, and I'm thinking of Hong Kong again.
I want to get my hands on those Adidas Superstar and Stan Smith!
Arghhh I've spent too much this month!
Self control!
Love ya
