My colleagues invited me for dinner at 川粤居,
and I thought we were having hotpot cause that's what the restaurant advertises everywhere.
But they ordered stir fried dishes instead,
I mean, family styled dishes where everyone takes food from the center of the table.
It has been forever since I had a nice, normal sit down dinner where we eat stir fries with rice and meat and stuffs,
I was so hyped for that meal!
Finally!
I love family style dinners.
So they ordered a bunch of dishes,
and I absolutely loved all of them!
I don't have any expectations for this restaurant,
cause I never knew about its existence,
and hotpot seems to be their specialty.
But people!
This...
this restaurants serves awesome and flavorful dishes!
From their tofu to their clay pot meat,
they're all so so good!

I stole the bottom 2 pictures from my colleague cause I did not have it in my album, heh heh
I don't know the actual names of the dishes, so I'll just wing it k?
We had some braised tofu (so GOOD)
Pork with...garlic chilli sauce? + cucumbers at the bottom
Crab with fried glutinous + lotus rice
FIsh in hot oil 水煮鱼
(I tried to Google it's English name, and I got 'Sichuan poached sliced fish in hot chilli oil', sounds about right)
and we also had some simple broccoli with sliced squid (YUMS)
and last but not least...
err...
braised chicken in claypot...? with scallions as garnish!
There!
I named them all!
And not to forget, my fresh coconut water!

In short,
this meal made me craved for home even more!
It' so good, I HAD to bring my housemates to try it out!
5 out of 5!
I don't know how much this meal costs, unfortunately.
Because my colleagues insists on treating me as my farewell dinner.
Thanks guys *sobs*
