I've been in this rage mode for almost a week...or a month!
I got mad at everything,
and it started when I first arrived at the company,
to the last step I took leaving the place.
It could be just PMS,
or whatever, I don't know!
I tried to control my emotions, but it CAN'T be controlled!
Someone's walking slowly in front of me:
GET OUT OF MY WAY SLOWPOKE!
Someone's blocking my way:
UGHH HAVE YOUR MOTHER NOT TEACH YOU TO BE CONSIDERATE?
Someone's talking loudly, and I mean VERY loudly:
SHUT THE FUCK UP MOTHERFUCKER! BLOODY IDIOTS!
The counter is untidy:
IT'S A FREAKING PIG STY! HOW CAN ANYONE WORK IN THIS CONDITION?
The Ipad at work was not charged and was left to die:
YEAH WE NIGHT AGENTS BRING OUR OWN IPADs TO WORK SO DON''T BOTHER CHARGING CAUSE WE DON'T NEED TO USE IT!
You see what I mean?
Every small detail pisses me off.
And I show that rage to everyone that's within the splashing zone.
Trust me, I've tried counselling myself:
I'm not supposed to behave like that,
and innocent people are going to get hurt if I keep this up.
But I just CAN'T!
or I just don't want to, I DON'T FREAKING KNOW!
It might be due to the constant nagging in my head to settle my Europe trip's miscellaneous asap
or it could be due to the fact that I'm resigning and I don't want to live up to the crap at work.
I don't know.
Anyway, I was kinda proud of myself yesterday,
cause it was the first time in a while that I was not scowling at anybody....at least not my colleagues,
I scowled at one of the guests that happens to be the wife of our C.O.O., which I didn't know at first.
Oops. Not sorry.
You see that's the thing,
I was introduced to this industry where my General Manager goes to every department in the morning to greet all of us
Or even when we meet along the hallway!
Good Morning!
Hello!
How are you today?
We love him.
We respect him.
We all actually KNEW who he was.
even the newbies.
Even in my previous company,
we all know each other!
Our director comes down everyday!
We chat, we joked, and then we went back to work.
But in this company...
okay I know it's a big company, but still?
You are given a few pages of pictures.
and here, memorize their faces.
They're our bosses.
Uhh, okay?
Then maybe you should hire robots because that's what they specialize in.
Okay maybe it's just me,
I remember things by personal contact.
If we spoke before, or even just a greeting in the hallway,
I will remember you.
or at least know who you are.
Maybe you'll say something like:
Umm who do you think you are to have the bosses to make errands around the company to greet all of you?
Uhh, we're the ones who gets fucked daily by our guests and by our colleagues because of the stupid overbooking shit you got us into EVERYDAY!
So yeah, you're welcome.
So my point is,
I don't feel guilty for not knowing who you are,
because the best bosses I had, are the ones who made themselves known by every staff in the company, by themselves.
Okay enough rattling.
I've finally finalized the accommodation and transfers between cities for Italy and Spain!
Woohoo!
It was consuming my life force!
But it's finally done!
I did some calculations yesterday,
and we spent approximately RM 11,000, solely on flights, trains and accommodation in Italy and Spain.
To be precise,
it's for 5 European cities in 14 days, for 3 adults.
which includes
4 flights
2 inter-city train rides
5 accommodation
a WIFI router with unlimited data for the entire stay
2 airport bus transfers
and I think that's all of it.
So it comes down to an average of RM3500 per person,
which I think fares rather fairly.
I mean, it's Europe.
And as for my travel blog,
I think I will write it in different pages for different countries.
I've already set up a page for London,
and I'm going to do the same for Italy and Spain.
Gosh, I'm gonna need to stay home and write for half a month to document everything!
But it's gonna be worth it.
Peace out.
