My colleagues and I decided to go for a luxury breakfast.
So we settled on Cafe Fontana in Wynn Palace.
It costs MOP220 + 10% per person,
which totals up to MOP242.
The cafe is situated near the North Entrance,
and the place isn't usually crowded,
so you'd have a good chance of getting seats even if you didn't make reservation.
We arrived by taxi around 8.30am,
and the cafe just astounds me.
It's so grand,
and their theme colors are white, gold and red.
We were seated at a table near the window,
so we could look at the performance fountain.
But since we were there early in the morning,
there aren't any performances to watch yet.

The buffet spread was amazing.
It looks so neat and organized,
with so many types of pastries, cakes, fruits, cold and hot dishes to choose from!
They have 2 action stalls as well:
the egg station and the noodles station.

As we were seated,
we were offered coffee or tea.
The service crew is very friendly and attentive,
you're basically surrounded by smiley faces everywhere you go.
The chefs are VERY friendly as well,
unlike the other buffets I visited.
I'm usually intimidated by chefs who're serving the buffet lines,
because they seemed to be a little held back and serious looking.
But the chefs at Cafe Fontana are great!
They offered to slice the ham for me without me asking,
and even recommended the sauce to go with it.
They also 'upsell' some of their dishes,
and this never happens throughout my buffet eating life.
I mean,
they have the passion and confidence in their cooking,
and that made me more than happy to try out those dishes!
Their pastries looked even better!
There's croissant, bagels, brioches, you name it!
There's an island full of cakes, puffs, crumbles and tarts!
This is heaven!
Oh oh!
Did I mention there's a counter dedicated to chocolates?!
Yes there is!
I am SO happy just walking around the buffet counters and just looking at the unlimited options I have for breakfast!

They also offers 3 types of juices, 3 types of milk, a few choices of cereals and yogurts as well.
I was so full and satisfied at the end of my meal.
This is the best breakfast buffet I've ever had,
and I seriously doubt any other cafes can top this.
5 out of 5.
A side note,
at both the north and south entrance,
there's a floral decoration of...things.
Gosh, I don't know how to describe it.
Sometimes it's a Ferris Wheel,
sometimes a merry go round,
sometimes a see-saw.
This time round,
they have hot air balloons and an egg as the theme structure.
And allow me to stress that the structures are mostly covered with flowers!
I only took picture of the egg,
and there's a short performance where a bird will rise from the egg.

That's all for my blog post on Cafe Fontana.
You have to give it a try!
Peace out.
